Composed by 6 municipalities in the northen part of Minas Gerais state, the Salinas Region is one of the main producing regions of artisanal "cachaça" in Brazil.
Since 2012, the region received the Geographical Indication registration that officially recognizes the authenticity of the products from the Salinas Region.
The identity was based on the “Authentic Premium” positioning, which aims to promote an experience with the region, valuing the culture, the tradition of the producers and the quality of the craft processes.
