Braskem recognized the need to transition to a more sustainable and circular economy within the chemical and plastics industry. To address this, they aimed to develop circular products that meet market demands for sustainable solutions and to educate the public on conscious consumption and proper disposal of plastics. This dual approach seeks to foster a societal shift towards better use and recycling of plastics.
In partnership with CBA B+G, Braskem launched the Wenew brand, an ecosystem symbolizing circularity through its four pillars: products, education, technology, and circular design. The brand identity, reflected in its logo and vibrant design elements, emphasizes renewal and continuous cycles. The name "Wenew" combines "we" and "renew," representing the company's commitment to sustainable development and collaborative strength in driving circularity.
